Dear Commercial Student Pilots:
 
This email is to solicit your interest to join a group of pilots flying Boundary Bay to Churchill and back. Either the complete trip, or if more practical, some of the legs. This project is in support for our 2021 Give Hope Wings Mission to raise $500,000 for Hope Air - ENOUGH TO FUND NO LESS THAN 2000 FREE MEDICAL FLIGHTS FOR CANADIANS IN NEED!
 
Many of you are aware of Hope Air's good work. Founded in 1986, this iconic charity has provided over 155,000 free medical travel arrangements for Canadians who must get to health care far from home. Almost 30% of patients are children and youth. The pandemic has only served to increase the demand for Hope Air's services.
 
This will be the fourth Give Hope Wings long distance flight undertaken to raise funds for and awareness of Hope Air's essential work. Previous missions have raised $900,000 - which increased Hope Air's capacity to help Canadians by funding some 3600 free medical flights.
 
GIVE HOPE WINGS 2021 BOUNDARY BAY TO HUDSON BAY AUG 23 - SEP 3. TARGET: $500,000 FOR HOPE AIR.
 
Supporting Pilots are invited to join the entire expedition or for some of the legs. We expect 20+ planes, loads of fun, many learning experiences and networking opportunities.
 
Reception and accommodations have been arranged along the route, although pilots are to contact the hotels directly for booking.

There will be live, minute-by-minute flight following on our main website here http://www.hopeair.ca/givehopewings, another opportunity for new pilots to network.

IF YOU ARE A PILOT AND WANT TO JOIN FOR ANY PART OF THIS AMAZING EXPEDITION: You can fly along with us for 200 nm or 3000 nm or any part thereof - the choice is yours. All donations to Hope Air attract a tax receipt. Hope Air is the only significant charity in Canada - or anywhere - whose OPERATING EXPENSES ARE LESS THAN 15% OF DONATIONS. Said another way - 85 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to paying for flight expenses. That’s just one of several reasons Hope Air is the recipient of a number of Canadian charity awards each year. And, it’s a key factor which attracted me to Hope Air almost five years ago.
